IRENE BARTOLOMÉ (Barcelona, Spain) is a filmmaker, film editor, and producer.

Her work exists at the intersection of documentary and fiction, focusing her interest on the relationship between the built environment and its inhabitants.

In 2023, she founded Lemu Helu, a production company that aims to support unconventional films and artistic projects.

Irene lives in Beirut, Lebanon, where she completed her first feature-length film Dream of another summer, which had its World Premiere at the CPH:DOX Film Festival and received the NEXT:WAVE award. 

She holds a BA in Film Editing from ECAM Film School (Escuela de Cinematografía y Audiovisuales de Madrid), a Master's degree in Creative Documentary from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and an MA in Film and Screen Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London. She was also a collaborative fellow at UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art in Brooklyn, New York, during 2014–2015.
