Sura / ﺻﻮرة is the exploration of an image based on the ideas exposed in the essay "A thing like you and me" by Hito Steyerl. The film tells the hypothetical process by which a specific image went through in order to gain agency. Despite the protagonist being the image, the story is recounted from an observational human actor who ends up participating in the image.
